PICKitPlus Programmers

The PICKitPlus Programmer is an enhanced version of the Microchip PICKit 2 design. It functions everywhere a standard PICKit 2 works and is fully compatible with our PICKitPlus software tools.

Key Features:

• Program, verify, and read: 10F, 12F, 16F, 18F, PIC24, DsPIC and PIC32 microcontrollers.  See our supported microcontroller list for full list.

• Program, verify, and read EEPROMs.

• Serial terminal functionality.

• Logic analyser capabilities.

• Both models are supplied fully assembled. 

PICKitPlus Programmer Additional Features:

• Firmware protection against accidental (or intentional) erasure or modification.

PICKitPlus Programmer Usage:

• The PICKit-to-go mode is not supported.

• Ensure the PICKit Programmer does not exceed a current draw of 100mA.

Models Available:

1. PK+:

   • Standard model for general use.

2. PK+PI4:

   • Specifically designed for the Raspberry Pi 4.

   • Operates ~4% slower than the standard model but resolves the frequent "lock-up" issue caused by the Raspberry Pi 4's USB subsystem.

   • Also functions wherever the PK2 would. (Note: Other Raspberry Pi models do not have the USB flaw.)
